Winner’s History

HI,

Yes, I agree the history mainly generated and recorded by winners. In fact, I think, it is reasonable. Because:

Generally, the winner in history also met many and various kinds of failures, but, finally, they suppressed these failures. This will be very valuable for recording, because we want to learn how to stand up again with a new solution, we want to know what success solutions are, and summarily, we want to know why win and how win.

Maybe, valuablized winner’s history is from a point view which “treat history not only as story”, but even treat history only as story, the winner’s history will also be more interesting. For a simple example, Horatio Alger’s novels are simple plot, generally from unsuccessful to success, but interesting.

However, I don’t deny that tragedy is valuable or interesting; instead, I think they are valuable in sensibilities satisfactions not as winner’s history does, in rational.

Thanks again in the WebGRE. You know it’s really hard to find 红宝书 in US. And I may take GRE next year. If you used to take it, maybe you can give me some good advise.
